MiND is a private AI-powered journal. Your journal entries and personal data are end-to-end encrypted — only you can read them.
Account information: Your name and email address when you sign in with Google or Apple.
Journal content: Your thoughts, photos, titles, thread names, facts, location labels, and photos are stored encrypted. We cannot read this content.
Location data: GPS coordinates and place names to tag entries with where they were written. Coordinates are encrypted at rest.
Usage data: Anonymous metrics such as feature usage counts to monitor app health. We never collect or analyze the content of your journal.
Crash reports: Anonymized crash data to help us fix bugs. This does not include journal content.
Your journal text, photos, thread names, facts, location labels, and coordinates are encrypted on your device using AES-256 before being stored or synced. Your encryption key is stored in your iCloud Keychain and never leaves your devices. We cannot read your journal content.
A 24-word recovery phrase is shown once during setup. We never store it.
To identify people, places, and organizations in your journal entries, your text is decrypted on your device and sent securely over HTTPS to our backend for AI processing. This is the only time your content leaves your device in readable form. Your content is used solely to provide app functionality and is not used for any other purpose.
MiND offers monthly and annual subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. You can cancel at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers and cannot be undone.
You can export your data (Settings → Export) or delete your account (Settings → Delete Account) at any time.
MiND is not intended for children under 13.
